If you want to keep up to date on new food safety and quality legislation or find out about the latest results from MAFF's food surveillance programme or what issues are being discussed by UK and EU expert food committees, the free Food Safety Information Bulletin is a valuable source of information.
The Bulletin is a free monthly publication issued jointly by MAFF and the Department of Health. It contains food compositional and safety information, MAFF food surveillance reports, research details, legislation updates and current consultations. The publication can be copied, except for Parliamentary extracts, as long as the source of any information quoted is acknowledged.
The Food Safety Information Bulletin has been published since May 1990, however, only the October 1996 issue onwards will be available via the World Wide Web.
